Initiatives & Programs

The Yale Indian Papers Project’s programs and initiatives are designed for interaction with its audiences in mind. The Native Visiting Scholar Internship Program, Native Partners Project, and the Fundamental Documents Initiative extend to the Northeast’s Indian communities, while Educational Outreach is meant to focus on academic communities from K-16 through graduate studies.  The Commuck Initiative shows a relationship between Project staff, Native Communities, and student scholars.
