Memorial of Elijah Wampy, Cornelius, and Patience Pewompskin

To the Honorable General Assembly Now Sitting at Hartford

The memorial of Elijah Wampey, Cornelius Indian, and Patience Pewompskin, all of Farmington, Indian Natives, humbly showeth that they have great occasion to sell and also to purchase certain lands belonging to them and certain of their neighbors.  Those they want to purchase of being some English and some Indian and shall be glad Your Honors will enable them and such Indians and others as they shall have occasion to purchase of to make such sales and purchases under the direction and with the approbation of such person or persons as Your Honors shall appoint for that purpose.

And your memorialist, as in duty bound, shall ever pray,
