The New England Indian Papers Series

The New England Indian Papers Series Electronic Archives provide visual and intellectual access to a fragmented and widely dispersed collection of primary source materials, assembled from partner institutions in the U.S. and the U.K.  Classified into various geographical, chronological, and topical series, the archives represent a varied and rich collection of significant historical information drawn together for the purposes of reflection, education, scholarly analysis, and investigation.

Materials written by, for, and about Connecticut Native peoples can be found in The Colony of Connecticut Collection, First Contact to 1783 and in The State of Connecticut Collection, 1784 to 1869.  Documents in these collections include or will include in the future the following items.
